About Altreva
Altreva was founded by Jim Witkam in 2003 and specializes in the
research and development of financial time series forecasting and market
simulation software. Altreva uses innovative technology such as
agent-based market simulation models and evolutionary computing to
create adaptive, evolving and self-learning market modeling and
forecasting solutions.
People
Jim Witkam holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Twente University, the Netherlands. He has previously been a Consultant and Manager at both Ernst & Young Treasury & Financial Risk Management and Ernst & Young Corporate Finance B.V. in Amsterdam. Also he has been Marketing Director of SmartHaven B.V., a software technology startup company offering intelligent search and knowledge management solutions (later acquired by Quote Media).
